Sophia's first Halloween

We took Sophia "trick-or-treating" this year, and by trick-or-treating I mean, parading her around in her costume so everyone could see how cute she looked :) Don't worry, she didn't get any of the candy! Maybe next year. On Friday, we went to the Weatherford College's Safe Halloween and on Sunday we went to a local church for Trunk or Treat.

Pop stopped by Friday to see Sophia in her costume before we left

She had fun at the college seeing all the people in their costumes, but it got pretty chilly so we didn't stay too long. We also stopped by the nursing booth while we were there so Sophia could meet some of my old instructors, she was a hit needless to say :)

Sunday, we went by Rudy's parent's house to meet my brother in-law, sister in-law, and my nephew for Trunk-or-treating. And so Sophia's Abuela could see her in her ballerina costume.

She's such a big girl, she can even hold her own bag :)

We only went to a few "trunks" because Sophia was completely wore out from the whole weekend. She had a blast though! Next Halloween will be even more fun, I can't wait!

In other news, Sophia had her 6 month appt with the pedi on Monday. Her doctor said she is doing great and is even advanced in her sitting. She said most babies don't start sitting that well until around 7 months, go Sophia! She ways a whopping 15 lbs 15 oz and is 26 1/4 long. She is still a little peanut, but that's ok with me!

Waiting patiently for the doctor

Oh and guess what?? We have tooth number 2! Just popped up on Wednesday, crazy huh?! My big girl is growing up fast.

  2. Well thank you :) I thought she looked pretty cute myself! Yeah, she was pretty content until it was time for the shots, I hate that part and so does she!
